Twitter Feed Added
I’ve added a twitter feed to my sidebar for anyone interested in such things.

I’ve added a twitter feed to my sidebar for anyone interested in such things.
I’ve added a quick skill search to my portfolio. Now, when you click on any skill name (MySQL for example), it will display all portfolio entries that use that particular skill.
I’ve just put the finalized touches on my portfolio. Currently it shows the lastest work I’ve done, and a random work. In addition, one can easily search the portfolio for, say, any work I’ve done related to WordPress.
This should become a valuable tool to have once my portfolio grows in size.
I’ve put up the portfolio section of the site. Currently it just shows the last 10 entries into it. Once it grows in length, I’ll add pages to be sorted through, and search functions based on skills used, those with or without testimonials, etc.
Last night I spent some time working with Karl from U.S. Legal Hosting, working on the site’s layout.
My work focused on smaller things: editing the messy table-based code, fixing glitches, adding/removing content, minor image edits, etc.
Well, I’ve put up version 2.1 of the site. I like this design a lot more - plenty of white space, nothing really seems cluttered…
I think I’ll stick with it, mostly. I’m designing the site still, the core of it will always look something like this.
Today I made the title page for the school’s Art and Literary Magazine. Overall, I think it turned out very nicely! There is quite a bit of repitition due to there not being many submissions to work with. But, I still like it.
You can see it over at my deviant art:

Well, I’ve been working a lot on my site today. I created the web contact form, edited a lot of CSS, and started some work on the portfolio. All and all, not much to report.
I’ve also been working with Art Lit - designing the school’s magazine. I’m working on a kick-ass front page at the moment, which should turn out well. I’ll post it to my Deviant Art when I’m done.
What else, what else?
I’m getting closer to moving to Texas each day. I start the drive mid to late June. But, that’s not much that I care to post on the web.
So, until next time…
I have published the first draft/mockup of the site’s theme. Comments to anywho who visits would be welcome. Personally, I think I used way too much blue. Not enough contrast. But, it’s the first draft, so there is plenty of room for improvement. Theme ported over to wordpress as well.
Version 2 of this blog is released. I’ve upgraded to the latest version of Wordpress, which I have to say is very nice.
More to come soon.
